I don't know about you guys, but we are getting pretty excited about Easter. We love the meaning, we love the Spring weather, and we love the Egg Hunts! Our team was super excited this year to come across the Ayers family. As you know, we love a family business that we can support. You could say it speaks to our hearts, so our hearts almost exploded as we learned more about the Ayers family and the amazing work they are doing with their Easter Eggs!

The Ayers family has been filling and supplying toy-filled and candy-filled plastic eggs for 25 years! Their company was started in 1993 by husband and wife, Phil & Ruth Ayers. The business continues to be run today through family members. This small family-run business fills and sources their eggs here in the U.S. in small and rural workshops. But they are no small shop, distributing thousands of eggs every year. The best part, this organization employs special needs individuals to fill all of their eggs. Not only are they an incredible family-run business, but they are also making an incredible impact on the community around them and empowering the special needs community.
Fun fact about the business, their family business was responsible for providing 501,000 filled plastic Easter eggs to the largest U.S Easter Egg hunt according to the Guinness Book of World Records. That is a lot of plastic eggs! The Clough Team is so excited to be sourcing our candy-filled and toy-filled Easter Eggs from the Ayers Family this year and for years to come.
