Debbie Williams is the latest addition to The Clough Team serving as a REALTOR® working with buyers and sellers. Not only is Debbie an industry veteran, but she is also a long time friend of The Clough Team. We recently sat down with Debbie to talk more about her and her experience as a REALTOR®.
This isn’t your first rodeo in the Real Estate Business! Tell us a little bit about your history in Real Estate? I got my Real Estate License in the late 70’s and worked for Century 21. In 1987 I started my career in new construction with Phillips Builders which later became Beazer Homes. I specialized in new home sales as well as resales in Williamson County communities as an On-Site Realtor in Sheffield on the Harpeth, Horseshoe Bend, Inglehame Farms and River Landing.
What sparked your interest to become a REALTOR® when you did? I was looking for a new home as a new resident in Nashville and fell in love with the entire process of finding the right home so it became my life.
What did you love about the New Construction world that you are excited to bring forward and use to serve your Residential Clients well? I love the entire process of assisting families from the start of new construction to watching the sticks and bricks become a home.
How did you settle on joining The Clough Team? My philosophy has always been to surround myself with the best professionals and the Clough Team exemplifies the best of the best. Each person on this team has a special expertise that I can thrive and learn from.
What is one of your favorite stories with a client or describe one of your favorite homes you have sold? I had the privilege of working with 9 families from Nissan in 2005 when their headquarters moved to Franklin from California. These families were apprehensive with the move, so finding a new life style and home in Tennessee was a challenge. There was so much satisfaction in seeing them quickly adapt and love this new place they called home.
What is your favorite thing to do in the greater Nashville area? I love attending Titans football games, Predator hockey games and enjoying the many beautiful parks and places in our community for a hike or walk.
What is your favorite restaurant in the greater Nashville area? There are too many to mention but an all time favorite is J Alexander’s because of the friendly service and consistently good food and wine.
